Liugong Island
Like a bright pearl inlaid in the azure waves of Weihai Bay, Liugong Island covers an area of 3.15 square kilometers, 2.1 nautical miles from the downtown area.
Its northern sea cliffs are erect and steep, while the southern part are gently stretching. Forest coverage rate reaches 87%, known as the “sea mountains”.
It boasts relics of the Warring States dating back thousands of years and legends of Liugong and Liumu of Han Dynasty.
